We've had our travel wings clipped. The best way I can describe the feeling is like we are a massive group of race horses, behind the starting barriers, chomping at the bit (literally!) for the gates to open so we can gallop towards our first holiday. While the government and medical officials continue to keep us guessing as to when that might be, both domestically and internationally, don't let that put you off making a booking. I'll give you three very good reasons.
1. Risk Free Deals:
Our international neighbours like New Zealand and the islands in the South Pacific are offering great deals with flexible booking conditions.
For example, our favouirte hotels in Fji hotels are allowing us to book your trip now, but are delaying taking any deposit payment until the international borders re-open.
Across the ditch in New Zealand, our hotel partners are taking deposits now but are guaranteeing a full refund on your deposit if you cannot travel due to any restrictions. And we're talking cash back, not credit like many other properties.
2. Fear of Missing Out If you're one of the many people who have delayed 2020 travel plans and are looking to book abroad for 2021, despite the boarders being closed at present, our advice is book now! Firstly, refer to point one, you are safe in the knowledge your trip will be financially protected. Most importantly, you don't want to wait for the green light to book your trip. Domestic properties sold out within 8 hours of regional travel restrictions being eased recently and resorts in Fiji have already started to fill up for next year, Availability is tight, so why not book something now in New Zealand, Fiji or in our own back yard. That way you have something pencilled in for the next 12 - 18 months with a risk free commitment. We can sort out the flights (which are a little less flexible on refunds) once the borders re-open, it's the accommodation that will sell out first.
3. Frontier Protected:
Our aim during the Covid-19 crisis was to get your loved ones home safely and to secure refunds and credits for trips you may have booked that needed to be rescheduled or cancelled. We had your back during that period and continue to with all your future needs. There is a tonne of fine print to wade through when it comes to bookings during this period. Let us do the heavy lifting for you, for domestic travel and for the trips you are dreaming of taking as soon as the open the starter gate. You deserve to feel protected no matter how big or small your travel plans may be.
